The First Annual Southern Arizona Horse Expo a Success! Heart was one of the rescues benefiting from the Horse Expo (January 16-17), where we also had a booth. It was a fun chance to meet so many horse people, and a great opportunity to share our vision and goals. We're already looking forward to next years Expo, it promises to be even bigger and better than the first! Tack Sale November 09 Report...
Our Tack sale November 28th was a blast! In spite of some gusty weather, we did avoid rain and enjoyed a great turn out! We had Ella the mini accepting donations with her fashionable pocketed donation blanket and "Santa" Tamale proudly doning his red and white suit... as long as he didn't have to wear the hat! There was wonderful live music and great demonstrations from the Sheriff's Posse and Ann Pearson DVM, a bake sale and a chance to buy some great HEART products (some of which can be seen here on the HEART Store page). Of course there was lots of tack for sale, something for everybody! HEART hopes to plan another tack sale in the future, watch for updates and remember we're always accepting donations of used tack and supplies! |
