Help Hero Get His Knee Surgery!! |

He came to HEART about 3 months ago from Turf Paradise having raced 9 times, coming in dead last on his last two races. As a result his knee was xrayed, showing he had fragments of bone in his knee. Because of this it was either a rescue or slaughter, and of course HEART chose to rescue him! Special thanks to Cass Dewey for being the catalyst to save this guy (along with many others) - the racing industry needs more people like her! He will need surgery to get the fragments out of his knee, after which he can go on to be a wonderful trail horse and have a great life. He is very friendly, and loves everyone that comes to see him. A just turned 4 year old thoroughbred gelding with the sweetest personality, he has a lot of potential once he's sound! Please help us raise the funds for his surgery and give Hero a chance at a wonderful future!
